TRIP Overview

  • Edge of Wonder: Swim into Devil’s Pool, a natural rock infinity pool right at the edge of Victoria Falls, only open during safe low-water season (roughly mid-August to December).
  • Adventure + Scenery: Spend your time on guided walks to scenic viewpoints, misty rainforest trails, and optionally, take a helicopter adventure or enjoy a Zambezi cruise.
  • Culture + Calm: Mix those adrenaline highs with visits to local markets, riverside dinners, or just letting yourself unwind at your lodge.

Best Time to Visit

Devil’s Pool is open from June to December, but the actual time to swim is from sometime in the middle of August up until the end of December, and when water levels on the Zambezi River are at their lowest. October and November are usually considered the safest months. From January to early August, the pool is closed for safety reasons.
